Sugar is a 13 year old 15.1 hand quarter horse type molly mule. She is a pretty molly with a huge hip and a big soft eye. She is out of a Sugar Bars mare and a mammoth jack. Sugar is sweet, kind and a careful mule. She is not spooky. She has been packed and ridden in the Eagle Cap Wilderness, the Salmon River country, and all over the high desert and mountains of Oregon. Trail work is her specialty and she is a careful, reliable mount. Sugar is a medium speed walker and will carefully cross bridges, water, down trees and most anything you would encounter on the trail. She doesn’t have a fancy handle and probably won’t win any races but she has always carried us safely down the trail. She is a big, stout molly, suitable for a larger sized rider but is sensitive and easy to handle for a lighter rider. She has no quirks and is easy to catch, clip, trim, bathe, load and haul. Amazing Grace “Gracie”
Amazing Grace is one of those mules that only comes along once in a while. She was born gentle and just about born broke. Gracie is 14.2 hands tall and weighs around 1000 pounds. She is friendly and always easy to catch. She is easy to clip, good about handling her feet and loads and hauls great. She has been ridden and packed countless miles in some of the roughest country in the Pacific Northwest including pack trips into the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness and the Cascades, hunting in the Salmon River country and trail rides in the mountains and high desert of Oregon. This little molly has a huge heart and will go anywhere you point her. She crosses fast moving water, ditches, logs and gulleys without hesitation and without jumping. Grace will readily walk right into belly deep water and would probably swim although we haven’t tried it. She will put up with about anything you ask her to as long as her people are there with her. She is a smaller mule but plenty stout to pack a larger rider. She would be a great mule for a rider of any skill level and will be your new best friend.
