We bought Rhubarb as a four-year-old, and she is just over six years old now. She is a nicely broke sorrel molly mule out of a gaited mare and sorrel jack. Though she does not gait, she travels smooth and can cover country. She has a nice wither and stands 14.3 hands. Rhubarb has had two full summer and fall seasons working for a living in our wilderness camps north of Yellowstone Park. She has been both ridden and packed extensively. She has led the string and been ridden off by herself. She has packed anywhere in the string, and will keep up and not hit trees even as the last whip mule on a very long string. She has crossed lots of deadfall, wooden bridges, and creeks. Rhubarb is sure-footed. She stands to get on and off. She has a good wither to hold the saddle. She has a one-hand neck rein and will tuck her head to back up. She is willing to go and soft in her sides. She is hobble-broke. Rhubarb is easy to shoe, bridle, saddle, and load in a trailer. She is good with worming and vaccinating, and is current on both eqvalan ivermection wormer and EWT/Flu/Rhino vaccinations. She is sensible and has a lot of real-life trail experience. Rhubarb is a nice-sized riding and pack mule ready to go to work. For more info, Sandy or Scott Sallee, Emigrant, Montana blackmtn2@aol.com or (406) 222-7455.
